I acquired a Canon Macro EF 100mm 1:2.8 lems in February and I've been trying to get acquainted with my first macro lens. It's been a lot of fun! I really enjoy using it! I've been lucky to go to a few places with great photo opportunities recently so I updated my account with those photos. It's interesting to see how in the beginning what I uploaded was entirely hand-based art whether the medium was digital or not. It seems that in the past year I've really focussed on photography and I do hope that I'm getting better at it. Regardless I'm enjoying it and it's a great, though not exactly cheap, hobby!

Photography update
After taking a short course in Photography earlier this year, I've become more interested in it as a hobby. I received a Canon EOS Rebel XS DSLR camera in July for my birthday and have been trying to use my free time to become more acquainted with what it can do. I've uploaded some of my photograph endeavors over the past few months. I hope y'all enjoy!

New Stuff
Some of y'all might've noticed I've put up a couple new works in the past couple weeks. There's one of two whales who looooove each other which was my final illustration for my Mixed Media class. (We needed to illustrate a headline, my headline was "Males whales prefer enormous females".) I used watercolor, a little bit of gouache, an inking pen and chalk pastels on that piece. Recently I uploaded a packaging project for my Advanced Typography class. The assignment was to create packaging that was mainly typographical in nature for a product of our choosing, and we had to create a brand name, not use one that already existed. I made up a bran
